What’s your day job?
I run a customer support consultancy, CoSupport, and I produce the Elevate Summit events for support pros.
Why’d you decide to produce the Elevate Women’s Event?
I have felt purposed for a long time to be a mapmaker for other women – in my head that means someone who has scouted out the marshes and valleys and come back to camp to draw maps for other people to follow. I think my job here on earth is to use all my wisdom and experience to lead others to make better decisions, to trust their instincts and develop their self-love and self-worth, and to in turn lead and mentor others.
What was you biggest ah-ha moment as a woman?
I was always told I should marry a rich man. No one ever mentioned or suggested that *I* could be the rich one, that I could support myself successfully without getting married, that I could be a business owner or mentor and didn’t need to just wait for someone to rescue me. I rescued myself.
What do you wish you could tell your younger self?
Save your money. Don’t be so dramatic. You deserve someone better (and taller) than him.
